“Dedicated to shaping futures since 1985” That’s the motto that encapsulates Faculdade ENIAC’s journey. It began as a technical school focusing on Informatics and Data Processing. Professor Ruy Guérios, the General Director of Mantenedora Edvac Serviços Educacionais S/C Ltda., initiated this venture.
Faculdade ENIAC’s story began in December 1985. It has grown from offering technical courses to include college programs. Today, it provides education from elementary school to graduate levels. Their areas of expertise include IT, Management, Engineering, Health, and Teacher Training.
In 1988, Faculdade ENIAC introduced computer science into the elementary school curriculum. This forward-thinking move highlights its commitment to technological literacy.
Faculdade Eniac achieved first place in the MEC ranking in Guarulhos and the region. It was also named the first college in Enade in 2005. It repeated this achievement in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012.
The “ENIAC Challengers Team” secured second place at the World Robotics Tournament in Houston, USA. This happened in 2005. This shows Faculdade ENIAC’s commitment to innovation.
Faculdade ENIAC built the country’s first Green Building in 2008. They also implemented the first water and sewage treatment plant. TV Eniac won an international documentary competition by Panasonic that same year.
In 2011, Faculdade ENIAC became a Technological Center for Guarulhos. It started offering distance learning courses. These courses were available at technical, higher education, and postgraduate levels.
Faculdade ENIAC has two campuses in Guarulhos. One is in the city center and the other in Jardim Albertina/Bonsucesso. The classrooms are equipped with multimedia tools like projectors and digital whiteboards. There is a library and specialized labs for specific courses.
Faculdade ENIAC also has locations in other Brazilian states. These include Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, and Bahia. You can find them also in Brasilia, Santa Catarina, and Espirito Santo.
Eniac Innovation promotes social and professional inclusion. It focuses on community development. The project addresses societal and industrial problems. It includes the CRC, ENIAC Challengers Team, and ENIAC Sustainable. It also has a Scientific Support and the Arapa Technological Museum.
In 2013, Eniac Innovation held its 2nd annual Christmas event. It distributed toys to around 400 children from needy institutions in Guarulhos. Students, staff, and partners participated in the project.
Faculdade ENIAC is located on Rua Força Pública, 89 in the Center. It continues to be a vital educational institution. It shapes the future of its students.
