A third ball sports court appeared in 1994. The martial arts hall was finished in 1995.

Large-scale renovations improved earthquake resistance in 1998. The gymnasium was renovated in 2004. A special support class was added in 2008. Niiza City Fifth Junior High School celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2016. Air conditioning was installed in every classroom in 2023.

The school’s educational goals promote friendship and self-discipline. Niiza City Fifth Junior High School strives to be a safe and clean environment. It fosters independent thinking. The school aims to be trusted by the community.

Niiza City Fifth Junior High School is located at 4-8-1 Nodera Niiza-shi. The school’s green exterior is distinctive. Once the school had a strong hard tennis club. The club achieved national success. The club has become a soft tennis club recently.

Tanaka Hirohide a former JRA jockey graduated from here. He is now a trainer.

You can reach Niiza City Fifth Junior High School via the Musashino Line. Alight at Kita-Asaka Station. You can also use the Tobu Tojo Line. Get off at Asakadai or Shiki Station. Or take the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. The school is a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
