Langham Place Office Tower is more than just an office building. It is a statement. It is a landmark that defines the Kowloon skyline. Completed in 2004, it quickly became one of Hong Kong’s tallest buildings.

The Langham Place complex comprises several elements. There is the Langham Place Hotel. There is also a large shopping center. Langham Place Office Tower completes the ensemble. Wong & Ouyang designed this architectural marvel. Construction began in 1999. It transformed the Mong Kok district. The Urban Renewal Authority played a key role. Old neighborhoods made way for this modern complex. One notable loss was the old Bird Street marketplace.

The tower’s exterior is striking. Light-reflecting blue glass covers the entire building. Grey glass separates it at intervals. At night, the dome atop the tower illuminates. On weekends and holidays, it changes color. This creates a captivating light show.

Inside, the Langham Place Office Tower offers ample space. Each floor provides approximately 1,600 square meters. That is 17,200 square feet. The tower provides a gross floor area of 7,200 square meters.

In its early days, Great Eagle owned the tower. They later sold parts of it. In 2008, Champion REIT acquired the mall and part of the office tower. Great Eagle retained ownership of the hotel.
