Perhaps you’ve driven past Zielonki-Parcela without realizing its quiet charm. Zielonki-Parcela is a village in east-central Poland. We are currently in the administrative district of Gmina Stare Babice. It’s part of the Warsaw West County, in the Masovian Voivodeship.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate Zielonki-Parcela. This village is approximately 2 kilometers west of Stare Babice. It is also 4 km north of Ożarów Mazowiecki. Warsaw is 13 km to the east.

In 2010, Zielonki-Parcela had a population of 727. Fast forward to 2022, and that number grew to 845 residents. Zielonki-Parcela came into being after the division of the Zielonki estate. Today, the inhabitants mainly focus on agricultural production. As you explore, notice several columns along the road to Ożarów Mazowiecki. These columns are remnants of an unfulfilled early 20th-century sanatorium project.

Zielonki-Parcela boasts a historic 19th-century eclectic palace. Currently under renovation, it’s surrounded by a historic park. The village is also home to PlantiCo Zielonki. This is a well-known horticultural and seed company.

For the younger residents, there’s the Mariusz Zaruski Elementary School. Find it at Południowa Street 2. Zielonki-Parcela has been part of the Warsaw Voivodeship from 1975 to 1998. The village is identified by the postal code 05-082. Its vehicle registration plates start with “WZ”.

As you look around Zielonki-Parcela, imagine the lives of those who’ve lived here. Think of the families who’ve cultivated the land. Consider the dreams that were planted here, like seeds in fertile soil. The unbuilt sanatorium, the old palace, and the school all speak of continuity. Zielonki-Parcela continues to evolve while preserving its unique character. Take a deep breath and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. Zielonki-Parcela is a testament to Poland’s enduring spirit.
