“To be a church for all peoples.” That is the bold vision of this church. We are standing before Church for All Peoples now. It is a testament to unity, community, and a shared mission.
Church for All Peoples strives to unite people in Christ. Its goal is to enrich the community, the city, and even the nations. The church’s mission is clear. It aims to glorify God. It does this by nurturing mature disciples. These disciples are encouraged to love God and all people.
Though Church for All Peoples has a specific location, its reach extends far beyond. The church strategically partners with like-minded churches and networks. These partnerships amplify their shared mission. They also share theological distinctives, ministry philosophies, and values. The church is grateful for its partners. They help spread the gospel of Jesus.
Church for All Peoples supports several ministries. Iglesia Biblica Gracia Eterna is one such ministry. APCC supports Pastor José Mazariego. He is a Spanish-speaking church planter. He works in the DC metro area. He is also a part of the IBGE network.
Redeemer Fellowship VA also receives support. Daniel Dixon, once a resident of APCC, was sent to plant this fellowship. APCC continues to support their work. The church also supports Malin Ayers and Bridget Hite. They are APCC members. They serve on staff with Cru at George Mason University in Fairfax. Evelyn Beckwith is another member supported by the church. She serves with Mason Intervarsity. She is also at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.
Even across the ocean, Church for All Peoples extends its support. Mustard Seed Tokyo is a new church plant. It began on March 1, 2020. It is located in the largest city in the world. Tokyo has 37.8 million people. Japan has the second largest unreached people group.
Alyssa and David Wissel serve at Mustard Seed Christian Church Tokyo. David once was an atheist. He now serves as a pastor. They moved to Tokyo in March 2023. They are currently studying Japanese full-time.
Jay and Caitlin Greer also work with Mustard Seed Network. They have been in Japan since 2008. They focus on church planting and evangelism. They have four children. All of them were born in Japan.
The “O” family is supported by APCC as well. They are heading to East Asia. They will work with a development center. They will create a therapy program for children with special needs. They will train staff in behavioral principles. They will also host parenting workshops.
