Arlozorov Towers

Amidst the vibrant cityscape, the Arlozorov Young Towers rise, a testament to modern architectural ingenuity. The Arlozorov Towers, completed in 2020, stand tall in Tel Aviv’s Nahalat Yitzhak district. These impressive structures, comprised of two connected towers, dominate the skyline. The taller tower reaches 170 meters with 53 floors, while its slightly shorter companion boasts 47 floors and a height of 151.7 meters. The unique elliptical design, wrapped with horizontal white beams, is a nod to Tel Aviv’s Bauhaus style. These beams are not merely aesthetic. They echo the architectural language found in other projects across the city by the same architects, Moore Yaski Sivan Architects. The Arlozorov Towers are more than just steel and glass. They are a microcosm of urban life. Within their walls, 486 housing units, ranging from cozy two-room apartments to spacious five-room residences, provide homes for a diverse community. The complex also houses offices, commercial spaces, kindergartens, and even a swimming pool, creating a vibrant hub of activity. Interestingly, 48 of the housing units were designated for affordable housing, demonstrating a commitment to inclusivity. The towers are connected by a unique bridge spanning floors 35 to 37, offering a breathtaking view of the city. The Arlozorov Towers story is one of ambition and perseverance. Construction began in 2012, initially planned for completion in 2016. However, various challenges, including permit delays, infrastructure relocation, and financial difficulties, pushed the completion date to 2020. Even a flood at the construction site couldn’t dampen the spirit of this project. The Arlozorov Towers now stand as a symbol of Tel Aviv’s dynamism and its embrace of modern architecture.
