A raised floor of 100mm conceals cables and wiring. Standard floors can support loads of 500kg per square meter. Core areas can handle even more at 1,000kg per square meter.

Consider the building’s facilities. Each floor has its own air conditioning system. There are ten passenger elevators for quick transport. One is a large emergency elevator. A dedicated service elevator serves the lower levels.

Security is a top priority at the Shiodome Shibarikyu Building. Manned security operates twenty-four hours a day. A parking lot in the basement accommodates ninety cars.
