However, it wasn’t until 1978 that the Bezirksmuseum Favoriten found its permanent home. It moved into the “Haus der Begegnung” within the Per-Albin-Hansson-Settlement East. Inside the Bezirksmuseum Favoriten, you’ll find an intriguing collection focused on geology and paleontology. This reflects the district’s rich prehistoric past. The museum also pays tribute to Favoriten’s historically significant brick production. This industry fueled migration flows, notably from Bohemia, creating the so-called “Ziegelböhm” community.
