“Love Me Now” Those words echoed in my mind as I stood before the Greater Lighthouse Church Inc. It’s a powerful statement a legacy of faith. This isn’t just a building. It’s a testament to the life and ministry of Apostle Joseph W Bryan.

The Greater Lighthouse Church has a rich history. It began in 1968. Joseph W Bryan was ordained as an elder. The Spirit called him to work in Maryland. He met Elder William Gerald. Together they started meeting in a basement. That basement became the seed of something much bigger.

In April 1971 Elder Bryan became pastor. In 1972 the church bought a building. Growth demanded more space. Bishop Henry William gave a prophetic word. He said God would provide a new building. In 1986 that promise came true. Apostle Smallwood E Williams dedicated the new church building. The Bryans were recognized as the founders of Greater Lighthouse Church Bible-Way Worldwide.

By 1998 the church became independent. Joseph W Bryan became a bishop. In 2009 he passed his mantle to his grandson Joseph D Bryan and his wife Tiffany. In 2015 Apostle Bryan passed away leaving behind a huge family and an incredible legacy of faith.

The church continues to thrive today. It stands as a beacon of light. It’s a place where love and faith are celebrated. It’s a place where the legacy of “Love Me Now” continues to inspire generations. It’s a testament to the power of faith. It’s a testament to the enduring legacy of the Bryans. It’s a church that embraces love. It’s a place where the story of God’s faithfulness continues to unfold. A church built on love. A church built on faith. A church built to last.
