In 1927, the Klub Českých Turistů (Czech Tourist Club) acquired Martiňák. Then came the war. The inn’s secluded location became a haven for partisans, serving as their base. Even the 1st Brigade of Jan Žižka found refuge there in 1944. After the war, Martiňák passed through various hands, experiencing both prosperity and hardship. Today, Martiňák stands as a luxurious wellness aparthotel. It’s situated at Pěticestí crossroads. From here, you can embark on scenic hikes through the Beskydy mountains.
