Before KAMEIDO CLOCK, this location was home to the Tokyo factory of the Second Seiko factory. After the factory closed a commercial facility called Sun Street Kameido was built in 1997. It served as a local hub. It hosted idol events. This created a special bond with the community.

KAMEIDO CLOCK is directly connected to Proud Tower Kameido Cross. This includes the Bright Tower and Gate Tower. The complex features 136 shops. It also has about 300 parking spaces.
