Terezinha Palone da Silva Domingues was born August 14 1948. She was born on a farm in S\u00e3o Pedro do Turvo. Her parents, Jos\u00e9 Rosa da Silva and Maria Palone da Silva, had thirteen children. Terezinha was the youngest.

Terezinha’s journey began in a humble classroom. Her family moved to Santa Cruz do Rio Pardo when she was five. She attended the Col\u00e9gio Ave Maria under the guidance of nuns. Terezinha worked in a fabric store and a shoe factory during the day. She attended night classes and earned her teaching degree in 1968.

In 1970 Terezinha’s sister, Geni, invited her to Jandira. Geni saw the need for teachers in the region. Terezinha’s father had passed away, so she came to Jandira with her mother. In 1971 Terezinha married H\u00e9lio Domingues and started her family. They had five children together.

Terezinha worked as a temporary teacher until 1981. She continued her education at Faculdade de Ensino Tereza Martin. In August 1981 she became a permanent teacher at Escola Santo Antonio. She later directed the Escola Alferes Henrique Sammartino. After retirement she worked with the Diretoria de Ensino de Itapevi.

In 2005 Terezinha Palone founded the Col\u00e9gio \u00c2ncora. She offered quality education to young children. The school grew each year due to its popularity. Terezinha dedicated her life to teaching. She treated her students with love and care.

Terezinha Palone da Silva Domingues was diagnosed with Lupus in 2010. She passed away on August 16 2011. Her legacy lives on through this school. The Escola Estadual Professora Terezinha Palone da Silva Domingues was named in her honor in 2015. This was made official by state law 15.817.
