St Demiana & St Athanasius Coptic Orthodox Church was consecrated on December 4 2002. HH Pope Shenouda III and HG Bishop Daniel officiated. Father Hanna Gad and Father George Nakhil serve as parish priests. Their leadership helps the church to flourish.

The church offers many services. There are liturgies in both Arabic and English. Sunday services include Arabic Liturgy from 7:00am to 9:00am. English Liturgy follows from 9:00am to 11:30am. An early morning liturgy occurs on Tuesdays from 5:00am to 7:00am.
Children can attend primary school lessons. These run every Sunday from 11:30am to 12:30pm. High school students also have lessons. These take place every Sunday from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.
Youth meetings happen every Friday. These run from 8:00pm to 10:00pm. There is also a weekly English Bible Study. This is for youth and their friends. It is held at ‘The Space’ at St Demiana & St Athanasius Church.
Choir meetings take place every Sunday. They run from 2:30pm to 4:00pm. Hymns lessons are available for primary school children. These happen every Sunday from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
Evening Vespers are held on Saturdays. Arabic Evening Vespers is from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. English Evening Vespers is from 7:00pm to 7:30pm. Arabic Bible Study follows vespers.
Scouts meet in the Church Hall every Saturday. This is for boys and girls under 15. Karate lessons are also available.
St Demiana & St Athanasius Church hosts various events. These include Arabic and Coptic Midnight Praises on Saturdays. English and Coptic Midnight Praises are also available.
