Today four ancestral halls still stand. The Tong Ancestral Hall a Grade III historic building stands as a testament to their heritage. It’s a part of the Sha Ta constituency represented by Ko Wai-kei. This illustrates the village’s significance in Hong Kong’s political structure. It is still actively involved in the community and its history is being preserved.
