St. Rose of Lima Parish is more than just a building. It is a community dedicated to building disciples of Jesus Christ. They are nurtured by the Eucharist and inspired by the Holy Spirit. The community dedicates itself to worship. It dedicates itself to learning and to serving.
The parish office is a hub of activity. From Monday to Friday it is open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and again from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.. On Saturdays, it welcomes visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.. Even on Sundays, it opens its doors from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. Only on holidays does the office remain closed.
Here at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church mass is more than a ritual. It’s a way of life. Weekday masses are held at 7:30 AM and 7:00 PM in English. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, there is also a 12:00 PM mass in English. Saturday offers a morning mass at 8:30 AM and a Vigil mass at 5:00 PM. Sunday masses begin at 7:30 AM and continue at 9:00 AM, 10:45 AM and 12:30 PM all in English. There is also a Vietnamese mass at 4:30 PM.
For those seeking quiet reflection, the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament offers solace. It begins on Sunday afternoons at 2:00 PM after the 12:30 PM mass. It continues throughout the week until Saturday afternoon at 3:30 PM. The chapel is generally open from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Those seeking access outside these hours can contact the parish office for an access code. A valid photo identification is required. The Vocation Adoration, a special overnight event, is held on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
St. Rose of Lima Parish extends its care beyond its walls. It provides support to several nursing homes and hospitals. These include Bendale Acres, Cedarbrook Lodge, Leisureworld, Trilogy, McCowan Retirement Residence and Scarborough General Hospital.

Every Monday starting September 12, 2022 St. Rose of Lima Church offers opportunities to learn about the Catholic faith. The Mustard Seed Ministry, the Parish Adult Faith Formation Program, invites all to deepen their faith.
