In 1990, a small group of determined individuals embarked on a mission of faith. This mission led to the establishment of the Northside Church of Christ. This group, including Brother Allen Cross, along with Brothers Moment, the late Thomas Turner, Walker, and Burns, found a building at 6906 N. 50th Street. They diligently saved and secured a down payment, laying the foundation for the Northside Church of Christ we see today. The Northside Church of Christ has a rich history. The original group was small, just 10 to 13 families. But their dedication was immense. They worked tirelessly to create a place of worship and fellowship. In 1994, Brother Eric Doss joined the Northside Church of Christ. He served as minister for about 13 years, guiding the growing congregation. Today, Brothers Luis R. Lugo and Arthur K. Taylor continue this legacy. They preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Northside Church of Christ remains a vibrant hub of faith. It continues to welcome individuals from all walks of life. The church invites those seeking to understand Christianity to join them in worship and service. The Northside Church of Christ emphasizes learning and understanding the Bible. They strive to follow the example of Jesus Christ and his followers. The church’s vision is clear: to make an impact for God in Tampa, Florida. They aim to help people understand the message of eternal hope through Jesus Christ. They extend a welcoming hand to all, inviting everyone to join their community of faith. Come just as you are to the Northside Church of Christ.
