Established in 1990 Arndell Anglican College stands proudly in Oakville a Sydney suburb. Named after Thomas Arndell one of the Hawkesbury’s first settlers the college initially resided on the Macquarie Retreat. It later moved to its present location. Craig Laffin the first headmaster guided the college’s early years. He fostered a strong school community and educational ethos that still shapes the college today.

The college’s journey hasn’t been without its significant milestones. In 1993 the college relocated to Oakville. Peter Walker succeeded Laffin as headmaster. Under his leadership student numbers swelled to over 800. The college joined the Sydney Anglican Schools Corporation in 1996. This solidified its position within the Anglican education system. Subsequent headmasters continued to build on this foundation.

Dr John M Goddard improved the curriculum. He oversaw numerous building projects enhancing the college’s facilities.
