“See” more than just a street. See Street Gallery awaits. This gallery is not just a space. It is a vibrant hub. It is run by the Sydney Gallery School and TAFE NSW owns it.

See Street Gallery sits on See Street in Meadowbank. It is right next to the Sydney Gallery School. You will find it on the grounds of Meadowbank College.

Let’s step back in time. The See Street Gallery was established by 2013. But its roots run deeper. The gallery is an educational institution. It is dedicated to showcasing art.

In focus, consider the Sydney Gallery School Printmakers. Their work graced these walls from October 8, 2003, to October 23, 2015. It was a long and impactful exhibition.

New directions came in the form of Sydney Printmakers 1961–2011. Their exhibition ran from February 6, 2013, to March 1, 2013. The See Street Gallery hosted them. It provided a platform for their artistic expression.

“The staff show” featured the Sydney Gallery School. This exhibition ran from March 27, 2014, to April 11, 2014. It highlighted the talent within the school.

“Artifact: End of year exhibition” showcased the Sydney Gallery School Diploma. It also showed the Advanced Diploma of Visual Arts. This exhibition ran from November 26, 2015, to December 10, 2015. It celebrated the students’ achievements.

Imagine the energy. Students and staff bustling about. The air buzzing with creativity. The walls adorned with diverse artworks. Each piece tells a story. Each exhibition marks a milestone.

Consider Samuel Henry Ervin. He offered a bequest to establish a public art gallery. It should be committed to displaying Australian art.

The S.H. Ervin Gallery hosts changing exhibitions each year. These exhibitions focus on the work of Australian artists. The Gallery has presented major survey exhibitions of artists. These include Clarice Beckett and Albert Tucker.

The See Street Gallery operates during the TAFE NSW academic year. The doors are open Monday to Friday. The opening hours are from 9 am to 5 pm. Feel free to step inside and immerse yourself in the art.

Phone calls are welcome. The number is (02) 9942 3688. Faxes can be sent to (02) 9942 3570. Remember this public gallery connects art and education.

So, as you stand here. Take a moment to appreciate the See Street Gallery. It is a place where art meets education. A place where creativity thrives. It is a testament to the power of art in our community.
