Cheerful Court Care Home is designed with the comfort and care of its residents in mind. The total area reaches 1447.06 square meters. It includes spacious accommodations with single, twin, four-bed, and six-bed rooms. Each bedroom is thoughtfully fitted with medical beds and a private bathroom. Some rooms even have televisions. Every bed has an emergency call button. Each resident gets an individual wardrobe and storage locker.
Sunlight streams through the shared foyer’s French windows creating a warm atmosphere. Residents can use a wide range of facilities. These include the canteen, clinic, library, and salon within the estate. A refined garden is available with a foot massage path and a gardening area.
Cheerful Court Care Home provides various physical and cognitive training programmes. These programmes are run by a multidisciplinary team. The team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nurses. They assess and design personalized training programs for the elderly. The structured training aims to delay degeneration and enhance self-care abilities.
Occupational therapy services at Cheerful Court are comprehensive. They include assessments for daily self-care activities. Swallowing assessments and treatments like oral-motor therapy and Vitalstim Therapy are available. Cognitive assessments and treatments include cognitive training and multi-sensory therapy.
