The Redeemed Christian Church of God, originally a small fellowship, held its first meeting in the District of Columbia in 1995. In just 15 years, this small group blossomed into a dynamic, non-denominational, multi-racial, and multi-cultural international church. The Redeemed Christian Church of God’s influence extends far beyond its American borders. It attracts worshippers from over 20 nations, all drawn to its steadfast praise and practical preaching. Leading this diverse congregation is Pastor Ghandi Olaoye, affectionately known as “Pastor G.” He has been the pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God since its inception. A visionary, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur, Pastor Ghandi embodies servant leadership. Born and raised in Nigeria, he holds a degree in English Language and a Masters in Industrial and Labor Relations. His path to ministry began after a successful entrepreneurial career, answering a call to serve God. Pastor Ghandi’s experience includes pastoring three RCCG Churches in Nigeria, an RCCG Parish in Bonn, Germany, and currently, he coordinates Conventions and Special Projects for RCCG, North America. Pastor Ghandi’s wife, Pastor Omo, plays a vital role in the church’s operations. She is the founder and pastor of Jesus Women Ministries, addressing women’s issues from all stages of life within a biblical framework. Jesus Women Ministries is part of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, D.C. Pastor Omo is dedicated to spreading hope, proclaiming liberty, and empowering women to live fully in Christ.
