“Assembleia!” That’s what the word “igreja” means in Greek. Right here in Moema stands the Igreja Presbiteriana de Moema. It is more than just a building. It is a gathering of Jesus Christ’s disciples.

The Igreja Presbiteriana de Moema began in March 2004. A group of Presbyterians living in Moema wanted to create a space. This space would be for community and faith. They started by holding “Encontros de Esperança”. These meetings took place in a rented room at the Blue Tree Convention Plaza. It was next to the shopping center.

In September 2004, the Igreja Presbiteriana de Moema moved. The new location was the Quality Moema. It is now the Slaviero Hotel. This location is on Avenida Rouxinol. In May 2018, the church found a new home. It moved its services to the auditório do Espaço APESP. This is on Rua Tuim.

Every Sunday, the Igreja Presbiteriana de Moema welcomes people. Services are held at 10:00 and 18:30. The location is the auditório do Espaço APESP. Entry is free.

The Igreja Presbiteriana de Moema is a Christian church. It follows the teachings of John Calvin. Calvin’s theology emphasizes God’s sovereignty. He also values salvation through grace and the importance of the Bible.

The Igreja Presbiteriana de Moema believes in God. They recognize the Bible as the ultimate guide. They also believe in salvation through faith. This faith shows itself through good works.

Several pastors lead the Igreja Presbiteriana de Moema. José Roberto Silveira is the main pastor. Carlos Henrique Scherrer de Oliveira, Marcelo Custódio, and Alison Medeiros are assistant pastors. Each brings unique experience and training to the community.

The Igreja Presbiteriana de Moema is more than a church. It is a community that seeks hope. It is a place where people can explore their faith. It offers a welcoming space for all. If you are in Moema, come and experience the hope. Experience the hope that never fails. That hope is Jesus Christ.
