For the remaining three years, they studied major courses taught in Chinese at Soochow University in China. Graduates earned dual certificates from China and Laos.
The university later transitioned to a “2+2” mode. It allowed students to complete four years of learning entirely in Laos. More than 190 Lao students have received education here. They have achieved undergraduate or graduate degrees.
