Tucked away in the heart of Korntal, Germany, lies Café Pax. It’s not just a café. It’s a haven, a home away from home for the town’s youth and young adults. Café Pax has a rich history, evolving through three iterations. Its story begins in the year 2000 on Saalstraße. The second version found its home in 2003 on Görlitzstraße, complete with a well-loved foosball table and billiard table. These beloved pieces made the journey to the current location, the ground floor of the Evangelical Brethren Community Center. Café Pax 3.1, as it is sometimes known, opened its doors in the summer of 2011. This newest version boasts a custom-designed bar. It also features a state-of-the-art double portafilter espresso machine. Beyond its walls, Café Pax extends its reach with a mobile coffee cart. This cart graces Saalplatz on Sundays after church services, weather permitting. It has also been a welcome presence at various festivals in Korntal. Both the coffee cart and a single-group Epoca espresso machine are available for private events. Trained baristas are provided to ensure a premium coffee experience. Inquiries for bookings can be directed to pfarramt@bruedergemeinde-korntal.de. Inside Café Pax, a warm and inviting atmosphere awaits. Every Sunday after church services, the café buzzes with activity during “After Church Chilling”. You can find it either in the hall or within Café Pax itself. Another weekly tradition is “Open Pax”. Every Sunday evening from 6 pm to 9 pm, Café Pax opens its doors to the community. It offers snacks, drinks, billiards, foosball, and a relaxed space for friends to connect.
