Many agreements have strengthened Brazil-UAE relations. These include agreements on double taxation and visa waivers.

Numerous visits mark the timeline of Brazil-UAE relations. In 2019, the Brazilian President visited the UAE. Also in 2019, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited Brasília.

In 2018, Brazil and the UAE signed a convention on tax evasion. The first Brazil-UAE Political Consultations meeting occurred in Abu Dhabi. Senator Fernando Collor visited the UAE.

In 2017, Minister Raul Jungmann visited the UAE. Brazil approved the Emirati military attach\u00e9 post in Brasília. The UAE agreed to defense attach\u00e9 posts in Abu Dhabi. Minister Blairo Maggi visited Dubai. Minister Mohammed Ahmad Al Bowardi visited Brazil. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited Brasília and São Paulo. He attended the opening of the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates. Minister Ricardo Barros attended the “World Government Summit” in Dubai.

In 2016, an Emirati military delegation visited Brazil. They toured Brazilian defense industry facilities.

In 2015, Minister Kátia Abreu visited the UAE. She met with ADIA Sovereign Fund authorities. Minister Rashid bin Fahad visited Rio de Janeiro.

In 2014, Minister Neri Geller visited the UAE. He attended the BRF plant inauguration. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum officially visited Brasília. An agreement on Defense Cooperation was signed. A sports cooperation agreement was signed in Abu Dhabi.

In 2013, Marcelo Neri attended the World Economic Forum in Abu Dhabi. Vice President Michel Temer visited the UAE. The UAE Minister of Economy Sultan al Mansouri visited São Paulo.

In 2012, the second Brazil-UAE Joint Committee meeting was in Abu Dhabi. Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed al Nahyan visited Brasília.

In 2011, the first Brazil-UAE Joint Committee met in Brasília.

In 2010, Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended the Mercosur Summit. Minister Miguel Jorge visited Abu Dhabi. Minister Nelson Jobim visited the UAE.

In 2009, Sheikh Abdallah Bin Zayed al Nahyan visited Brazil.
