Acquired by the Montgomery County Department of Parks in 1975 this 8.5 acre space offers a unique blend of nature and recreation. This wasn’t always a park. Before 1975 this land held a different story. We can only guess at what stood here before.
Today Plumgar Local Park boasts a fully accessible playground. Children’s laughter echoes across the park. There’s also a lighted and accessible basketball court.
