Did you know that even schools can have thrilling stories? Right here, at Základní škola Solidarita, the halls whisper tales of Christmas markets and Halloween hunts. Základní škola Solidarita isn’t just a place for learning. It’s a vibrant hub where traditions come to life. In December 2024, the school hosted its traditional Christmas market. The air filled with festive cheer, thanks to the dedicated staff, parents, and students of Základní škola Solidarita. They baked treats, crafted beautiful goods, and transformed the school into a winter wonderland. Every purchase supported both class funds and the school’s fund, helping children in need. Just a month earlier, in November, Základní škola Solidarita was buzzing with spooky excitement. The annual Halloween orienteering race was a huge success. The ninth graders, especially Angelika B. and Adam W., deserve special recognition for their incredible dedication. Základní škola Solidarita values student involvement. A prime example is the “Moje stopa ve škole” (My Footprint in School) project. Seven student projects made it to the finals in 2024/2025. The whole school, from first to ninth grade, voted on projects that could improve school life. From fun-filled days to acquiring new equipment, the students had a say in shaping their school experience. Základní škola Solidarita also has a heart for its community. The school actively sought a full-time educator in late 2024. They also searched for a part-time teaching assistant, demonstrating their commitment to providing the best possible learning environment. Základní škola Solidarita is more than bricks and mortar. It’s a place where learning, creativity, and community spirit intertwine, creating lasting memories for everyone involved.
