A Youth Delegation from Esslingen had contributed to the construction by donating significant funds. This gesture was acknowledged by renaming the theatre Beit Esslingen for a time. Finally, the building found its true identity on July 23, 1998. It was then officially proclaimed Givataim Theatre.
