Instead of the usual urban redevelopment low-rises and recessed towers it boasts large open spaces. The Plaza and Agora create a welcoming atmosphere. The campus blends seamlessly with the community.
The buildings themselves are striking. Clad in ceramic fritted glass spandrel panels aluminum sashes and pre-cast concrete they shine bright white. This creates a fresh look amidst the city’s chaos. But the beauty goes beyond aesthetics. The high-performance air-flow window system is a marvel. Developed by TDU researchers it allows natural ventilation. This minimizes thermal load while keeping the campus energy efficient.
