Ellesmere-Statton Public School wasn’t always one entity. It’s an amalgamation of two schools. First was Ellesmere School S.S.#5. It was originally built in the 1840s. Then Wendell Statton Senior School was built in 1973. The schools then became one.
At Ellesmere-Statton Public School, a strong link exists to the school’s history. Several traditions are upheld. These include community barbecues and strong co-curricular programs.
