Kings Landing Park Group Camping is located within Kings Landing Park. This park resides at 3255 Kings Landing Road in Huntingtown MD. It is operated by Calvert County Department of Parks and Recreation.
Kings Landing Park itself is a treasure. It stretches back to Captain John Smith’s exploration. It was once an active farm and a YMCA camp. Now, it is managed by Calvert County’s Natural Resources Division.
Youth groups find a unique camping experience here. Fees are based on group size. A small group of 1 to 50 campers pays only $50. Larger groups of 51 to 100 pay $90. Groups of 101 to 150 campers pay $120. The largest groups of 151 to 200 pay $150.
Remember no alcohol is allowed. This rule helps maintain a safe environment. It ensures the focus remains on youth activities and nature.
Kings Landing Park offers diverse outdoor activities. The 260-acre park includes pastures woodlands and wetlands. Youth can explore different habitats. To reach Kings Landing Park travel south on Route 4. Turn right onto Old Town Road at Huntingtown. Then turn right onto Huntingtown Road. Follow it to Kings Landing Road. The park is at the end of this road.
