Established in 1987 by the Ning Po Residents Association, Ning Po No. 2 College stands as a testament to community dedication. The association’s initial efforts in 1986, with 49 members donating HK$3.34 million, paved the way for this institution. The college officially opened its doors in 1987, and Sir David Robert Ford graced the opening ceremony on January 20, 1988. The Incorporated Management Committee was later established in August 2012. Ning Po No. 2 College operates as a government-subsidized grammar secondary school, emphasizing moral development and self-learning. It strives to create a positive and harmonious learning environment. The school’s motto, “Persist with Virtuousness and Develop Perseverance,” reflects its commitment to holistic education. Ning Po No. 2 College encourages students to learn proactively, develop perseverance, and cultivate good moral conduct and independent thinking. The goal is to equip students with the values and outlook needed to become responsible citizens who contribute to society and the country. The college uses Chinese as the primary medium of instruction. It’s located in Kwun Tong and has been estimated as Band 2B–2A.
