Nestled in Tin Shui Wai, the Tin Fai Road Sports Centre isn’t just a building. It’s a vibrant hub of activity. It opened its doors on November 27, 2012. The Tin Fai Road Sports Centre offers a diverse range of facilities. You can find everything from a state-of-the-art fitness room to a children’s play area themed as “Ocean World”. This Ocean World isn’t just any play area. It’s a 315-square-meter mini-ocean adventure designed for children aged 4 to 9 who are under 142 cm tall. Even the littlest ones, aged 0 to 4, can join the fun with a chaperone. The fitness room at the Tin Fai Road Sports Centre is a haven for those seeking a good workout. It boasts a wide array of equipment. There are adjustable decline benches, abdominal benches, arm curls, and even a dumbbell set ranging from a mere 5 pounds to a hefty 80! For cardio enthusiasts, the Tin Fai Road Sports Centre provides electronic treadmills, elliptical cross trainers, and upright cycles. Those looking to target specific muscle groups can utilize the hip adductor, leg extension, seated leg curl, and shoulder press machines. Even persons with disabilities haven’t been forgotten. The center offers a multi-functional trainer designed for shared use. Tin Fai Road Sports Centre is also home to a multi-purpose arena. Sadly, the multi-purpose arena, specifically Badminton Court No. 3, was temporarily closed for floor maintenance during February 2025. However, the rest of the center remained open and buzzing with energy. Tin Fai Road Sports Centre operates seven days a week. The hours are generally from 7 am to 11 pm. Keep in mind the maintenance days, which typically fall on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 7 am to 1 pm. If a maintenance day coincides with a public holiday, it’s rescheduled to the following working day. Reaching the Tin Fai Road Sports Centre is easy. Several bus routes, including 265B, 276A, 276B, 265M, 269M, and E37, serve the area. The MTR Tuen Ma Line, Light Rail, and MTR feeder buses also provide convenient access.
