The expansion added 2900 square meters to the CCW. It can now accommodate up to 2500 visitors. The renovations also allow for two medium-sized events to occur simultaneously.
Inside, the Congress Centrum Würzburg is spread across three levels. The Panorama level features adaptable meeting rooms and a foyer. The Hall level houses the Franconia-Saal with its stage and gallery. Here you will also find the Franconia Foyer and five conference rooms. The Entrance level offers three rooms and a divisible foyer.
The Franconia-Saal is the CCW’s flagship space. It can hold up to 1635 people. It features a flexible stage and a spacious gallery. The hall can be easily adjusted in size. It can even be combined with the expansive foyer.
Accessibility is a priority at the Congress Centrum Würzburg. It is certified as accessible for people with walking disabilities. It is also partially accessible for wheelchair users.
