It was a place for kibbutz members and activities.

Construction on \u05d1\u05d9\u05ea \u05d4\u05e7\u05d9\u05d1\u05d5\u05e5 \u05d4\u05d0\u05e8\u05e6\u05d9 began in 1965 and finished in 1969. Samuel Mestechkin designed this iconic building in the Brutalist style. Mestechkin also served as the head architect of the Histadrut. This building reflects a time of socialist ideals. \u05d1\u05d9\u05ea \u05d4\u05e7\u05d9\u05d1\u05d5\u05e5 \u05d4\u05d0\u05e8\u05e6\u05d9 became an important part of Tel Aviv. In 1969, the organization moved to its new home. About 75 kibbutz members and 30 staff worked there. Nineteen rooms were situated on the ground floor. It had a dining room, kitchen and secretariat. There was also a hall for meetings. It could seat 210 people. A gallery promoted art. There were also rooms for social gatherings. \u05d1\u05d9\u05ea \u05d4\u05e7\u05d9\u05d1\u05d5\u05e5 \u05d4\u05d0\u05e8\u05e6\u05d9 facilitated the sharing of ideas. It hosted collaborative works. The location served as an office for the architect Samuel Mestechkin. The designer was inspired by Le Corbusier’s principles. The building incorporated exposed concrete with rough textures. The designer created contrast. There was balance between the solid building and natural light.

Interestingly, architect Yacov Rechter criticized \u05d1\u05d9\u05ea \u05d4\u05e7\u05d9\u05d1\u05d5\u05e5 \u05d4\u05d0\u05e8\u05e6\u05d9. He felt it was too imposing. He preferred buildings that were simple.
