Tsing Yi Swimming Pool also houses an indoor training pool. This pool is 25 meters long and 15 meters wide, with a depth ranging from 0.9 to 1.2 meters. The facilities are well-maintained and include men’s and ladies’ changing rooms and toilets, as well as family changing rooms. The pool also boasts excellent accessibility features, such as accessible toilets, tactile guide paths, Braille and tactile floor plans, and a visual fire alarm system. During the winter months, from November to May, the Tsing Yi Swimming Pool operates on a three-session schedule. This allows for maximum usage throughout the day. The first session runs from 6:30 am to 12:00 pm. The second session is from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The third session allows for a refreshing evening swim from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm, extending to 10:00 pm in December, January, and February. Between sessions, there are breaks from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm to allow for cleaning and maintenance. The pool undergoes annual maintenance from September 11th to October 31st. Also, every Thursday morning the pool is closed for weekly cleansing, reopening for the third session on the same day.
