In 2003, a meticulous restoration brought The Carlu back to its former glory. The space at 444 Yonge Street reopened as The Carlu event venue. Today, it is recognized as one of Toronto’s best examples of Art Moderne architecture. The Carlu has been designated a National Historic Site of Canada.
The Carlu boasts four distinct event spaces. The Concert Hall can accommodate up to 1500 guests for a reception. The Sky Room offers a more intimate setting for 300. The Round Room is perfect for gatherings of up to 400. The Clipper Room suits smaller events with a capacity of 70.
