Choo, choo. A new adventure awaits at Kidzville Station. This is no ordinary train stop. It’s a gateway to imagination.
Kidzville Station is located at the entrance to Kidzville. It lies just outside Planet Snoopy. This charming miniature train ride has been delighting kids for years.
Get ready to become a train conductor. Imagine you are steaming through beautiful, scenic surroundings. The Kidzville railroad offers a memorable experience. It opened with the park on May 23, 1981. Kidzville Station is one of the original 26 rides.
Slowly winding through the trees sparks children’s imaginations. They can make their way around the track. Up to four people can ride in each of the eight single locomotives. Kids can even take their parents on this fun adventure.
Heinrich Mack GMBH & Co manufactured Kidzville Station. This company is also known as Mack Rides. They created other Wonderland attractions, too. These include Spinovator, Thunder Run, and The Fly.
For safety, there are some rules. Guests must be 40 inches tall to ride alone. If they are shorter, a supervising companion is required. Handheld infants cannot ride.
Each rider is secured with an individual seatbelt. This belt goes across the thighs and pelvis. Service animals are welcome. They must be leashed and under the owner’s control. They must also fit on the floor of the ride vehicle.
Guests must have at least two functioning extremities to ride. One functioning arm and one functioning leg are needed. Two functioning arms are sufficient. This is instead of one arm and one leg if the guest has a normal center of gravity. Lower extremities must support weight against the restraint. Amputations must be at the knee or below.
Alternate access is available at the ride exit to the left. Riders will have to take several steps. They can do this on their own or with help. They must be able to step up and over the side of the ride unit.
Kidzville itself has a rich history. In 1984, Smurf Village replaced Yogi’s Woods. Smurf Village was part of Hanna-Barbera Land. In 1993, Smurf Village became Kids Kingdom. The Kidzville area replaced Kids Kingdom in 1998.
Today, Kidzville includes Frequent Flyers and Jokey’s Jalopies. It also features Kidzville Station. Zoom Zone is a smaller themed area. It is also part of Kidzville.
