It was founded as the “Wiener Bicycle Club”. You might expect cobblestone streets and horse-drawn carriages, but this is the Prater, where the Wiener Park Club still thrives. They hosted Davis Cup matches for decades, attracting all of Austria’s tennis stars. The Wiener Park Club was the place to be for tennis in Austria, considered the most exclusive club, a place where legends were made. Today they have nine outdoor courts, two indoor courts and even a swimming pool! It’s a testament to the evolution of sports and culture in Austria, where tradition meets modern amenities.
