In 1977, amidst the growing suburban landscape of Leumeah, a new institution emerged: Leumeah High School. Leumeah High School first opened its doors to students eager for knowledge and community. The school’s motto, “Strive to Succeed,” reflects its commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering a culture of achievement. Leumeah High School has been a cornerstone of the community for decades. It serves students from Year 7 to Year 12. In 2018, the student population was around 768, a testament to its enduring presence in the region. The school is under the authority of the New South Wales Department of Education. Christina Mateus was the principal at one point. The school’s colors, bottle green and yellow, are a vibrant symbol of its identity. They can be seen throughout the campus, from the uniforms to the school’s publications, such as “The Link” newspaper. Leumeah High School isn’t just a place of learning.
