One fateful evening in 1993, a group of artists breathed life into a dream within the walls of what we now know as the Waverly Street Gallery. Originally christened “Creative Partners,” this haven for artistic expression has blossomed into a cornerstone of the Washington D.C. Metro area’s art scene. The Waverly Street Gallery stands as one of the oldest fine art galleries in the region. Its journey, marked by a name change in 2007, reflects the ever-evolving nature of art itself. Waverly Street Gallery champions contemporary visual artists. It provides a platform for a diverse array of media, from painting and printmaking to sculpture, ceramics, digital art, photography, and jewelry. Each month, rotating exhibitions unveil the latest creations of both member and guest artists. The gallery pulsates with life, hosting a dynamic calendar of events, demonstrations, and artist opportunities. This vibrant hub actively contributes to the Bethesda Arts and Entertainment district. Nestled in Bethesda, Maryland, the Waverly Street Gallery occupies a space once envisioned by the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County.
