Have you ever seen a rose hip? It’s a little red fruit that grows on a wild rose bush in autumn. They are small and round like tiny red apples. This installation gives a new look to the humble rose hip. It is called the “Nypon” installation – which means Rose hip in Swedish. It’s made of three interconnected structures: a sculpture made with bronze, a wall made of granite, and a garden. The sculpture is made of many small bronze rose hips, which are clustered together to form a large, abstract shape. The granite wall is carved with images of wild roses and their leaves. The garden has a variety of rose bushes planted in it. It’s a place where people can reflect on nature and how it shapes our world. The artist Peter Linde created it to remind us about the power and beauty of nature. The installation is a work of art, a place of peace, and a reminder of the simple things in life.
