The lake, nestled near the village of Dziekanów Nowy, drew enthusiasts from all over. Dziekanów Nowy, a small village just northwest of Warsaw, is part of the Gmina Łomianki administrative district. This places it within Warsaw West County, in east-central Poland. The lake offered the perfect escape from the bustling city, with its tranquil waters and vibrant energy. Sadly, the wakeboarding station at Jezioro Dziekanowskie is no more. Political disputes led to its closure in 2018. Now, the lake offers a more peaceful experience. While the main beach can get crowded, the right side of Jezioro Dziekanowskie offers a quieter escape. Here, you can soak in the sun, enjoy the serene views, and perhaps, still imagine the echoes of cheering crowds and the splash of wakeboards. The history of Jezioro Dziekanowskie may not be filled with grand battles or famous figures, but it holds a special place in the memories of those who carved its waters.
