Once, this peaceful area was a strategic point. The British recognized its value as a coastal defense. In 1911, they established an artillery battery here. It became the headquarters of the Western Fire Command.

Here at the top of Mount Davis Sitting-out Area, old military forts surround you. The views stretch from Victoria Harbour to Tsing Yi Bridge. You will find a lovely sitting-out area with a pavilion. A small playground provides recreation. There is ample space to roam.
