Over the years, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department has nurtured the park, fostering a rich tapestry of native flora. You might spot a flash of scarlet from a Scarlet-backed Flowerpecker or hear the melodic call of a Chinese Hwamei. Even the elusive East Asian Porcupine leaves traces of its presence, its quills scattered along the trails. After exploring the historical trails, take a breather at one of Lung Fu Shan’s picnic sites. One offers a unique vantage point – a lookout built atop a wartime observation post. From this perch, you can soak in panoramic views, mirroring the vista that once offered strategic surveillance. As you descend towards Queen Mary Hospital and Cyberport, the cityscape blends with the natural beauty of Lamma Island and the sparkling waters beyond.
