Built in a year and a half. It was a collaborative effort. Local businesses and industry helped. The Fällanden village association members dedicated themselves. They built the wooden structure. It opened in 1986. The association runs it with great dedication. The Waldhuus hosts various events. It can accommodate up to 80 people. Since 2018 weddings are possible there too. The Dübendorf registry office officiates.

The Waldhuus has easy access. It is convenient for deliveries. Two vehicles can easily reach the house. There is parking nearby. Ten spaces are immediately available. More parking is possible on parts of the EWZ area. You need a parking card though for long-term parking.
