Born in Cruz Alta in 1951, Saint Clair Cemin is a celebrated Brazilian artist. His sculptures blend styles techniques and materials. Saint Clair Cemin draws inspiration from philosophy literature and art history.

He shifted from printmaking to broader artistic pursuits. Saint Clair Cemin discovered his passion in sculpture. Since the 1990s he has gained recognition as a sculptor.

Saint Clair Cemin uses diverse materials. Bronze steel glass and marble are among them. His artworks range from small to large. He combines ancient Greek statuary Art Nouveau and Surrealism. He also incorporates everyday objects. His works challenge notions of use and function.

Saint Clair Cemin was honored at the 4th Bienal do Mercosul. He has featured in group exhibitions as well. These include the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and the Bienal de São Paulo.

His works reside in numerous collections. These include the Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno and the Whitney Museum. You can also find them at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey.
