Both he and his wife grew up in the Plant City area. They first came to First Thonotosassa Baptist Church after marrying in 2010. Pastor Simpson served as youth pastor for a few years before moving to Alabama. He has been involved in ministry for 21 years. He has a passion for seeing people come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. He views conversations as key to life change. He believes in getting to know people and finding common ground. This approach opens doors for sharing Christ and engaging in ministry. He believes the local church is God’s chosen instrument for spreading the Gospel.
