This is the first-ever local indoor cycling venue in Hong Kong. It meets the exacting standards of the Union Cycliste Internationale the UCI. Think Olympic-level cycling right here in Tseung Kwan O.

But the Velodrome has a secret. It’s not always a smooth ride. From January 1st to March 31st 2025 parts of the spectator stands are undergoing improvement works. You might hear some intermittent noise during your visit. The Leisure and Cultural Services Department apologizes for any inconvenience. But hey even construction adds to the Velodrome’s dynamic atmosphere.

The Hong Kong Velodrome is open seven days a week from 7 am to 11 pm. That’s a lot of cycling. However there are exceptions. On the first and third Tuesdays of each month it closes at 1 pm for maintenance. If a maintenance day falls on a public holiday it will be rescheduled.
