Meikai University was founded in 1970. The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management was established in 2005. It aims to equip students with essential skills for the hospitality industry. These skills include language proficiency and communication skills. Students also learn about customer service and etiquette.
The Faculty offers specialized majors. One is Tourism. Here students study the tourism industry. This includes travel, hotels, and airlines. They cultivate a hospitality mindset.
