This ambitious vision wasn’t entirely realized. However the initial development was impressive. The Matarazzo group constructed high-quality homes with spacious designs. Despite the disruptions the district continued to thrive. It became an official administrative division of Guarulhos in 1981 through the passage of state law number 3198. Today Jardim Presidente Dutra boasts a vibrant mix of residential areas. The area also includes shopping centers transportation companies and diverse businesses. It stands as a living monument.
